Patrick Miller

Patrick is the founder and co-owner of Miller Small Engine and has been working on mechanical projects for over 10 years. He has a passion for fixing equipment, as well as engineering. He has a  degree in Power Engineering Technology from Maine Maritime Academy and currently works as a  steam power plant engineer.

Andrew is a co-owner in Miller Small Engine. Currently in undergraduate at University of New England, he is pursuing a career in dentistry where he hopes to practice here in Maine.  Andrew has significant experience working on power equipment and will ensure your equipment is running smoothly. 


Policy

Refunds & Reservations

 Equipment Reservations and Servicing: At Miller Small Engine, we are committed to ensuring your equipment operates flawlessly throughout the season. If any issues arise with equipment we've serviced within the same season, we offer re-servicing to rectify the problem. Please note the following:

  • Reservicing: If the issue is identical to the initial one and occurs in the same season, we will fix it at no extra charge.
  • User Error: Should the issue stem from user error or improper use of fuel/oil, additional charges will apply for the service needed to correct these problems.
  • Estimates: Initial estimates provided may vary from the final service charge. We strive for accuracy but unforeseen complications may affect the final price.

Replacement Parts

  • Parts Warranty: New replacement parts are covered under a free replacement policy for one year from the date of installation. This warranty covers failures due to defects in the part but does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, or improper maintenance.

Additional Disclosures

  • Pick-Up and Delivery: We offer pick-up and delivery services for all repairs. Please be aware that fees may apply depending on the location and nature of the service. 
  • Service Guarantees: While we guarantee the quality of our workmanship, we cannot be held responsible for the normal wear and tear or deterioration of equipment over time, or damage resulting from user error. 
  • Cancellation Policy: Reservations for equipment service can be canceled with no fee.  We just ask you please inform us at least 12 hours ahead if plans change. 

Payment Terms

  • Invoices: A detailed invoice of all services rendered will be provided, and must be paid upon completion. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.
  • Late Payments: Accounts not settled within 30 days of service completion may be subject to late fees.

Privacy Policy

  • Customer Information: We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Customer data collected is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling service requests and maintaining our service records.
